Information we collect
We collect the following types of information about you when you use comotivate:

Using your information
- We will display your personal information on your profile according to the preferences you set. We will use your name so that you are recognisable on our database and so that we can personalise your experience. We will use your email address to contact you from time to time and may also use it for security reasons to confirm that you are who you say you are. You can control the types and frequencies of certain emails you receive in your preferences.

You can disable cookies by going to Tools on your top menu bar. This will bring up the "Internet Options" dialogue box. On the top of the dialogue box, click on "Privacy". This will bring up the "Settings" box. Scroll up using the slide bar on the left-hand side of the box, until the wording in the box states Block All Cookies. Then click on the "OK" button on the bottom of the menu box. If you follow these instructions, your computer will not accept cookies in future.
- comotivate may link information stored in cookies such as your year of birth, gender and country with your personally identifiable information and we may use such information to gather statistics about the number of people who visit comotivate and improve our site.
- Our advertising partners may set and access cookies or use other technologies in order to personalise advertising content. Within your control
- Your comotivate contributions (text, images and video) will only be shared with people in your team. We recommend that you don’t share any further specific personal contact information.
- We recommend that you pay close attention to the personal comment you submit as part of your goal registration since this text is available to browse publicly.
Spreading the word
If you choose to use our referral service, we will ask you for your friend’s email address to send them a single email inviting them to visit comotivate. We store and use this information only for the sole purpose of sending this one email and tracking the success of our referral program.
Testimonials
We may ask for your consent to post a testimonial on our site which may contain personally identifiable information such as your name.
Internet awareness
Whenever you voluntarily post personal information in public areas, like journals, blogs, message boards and forums, this information can be accessed by the public and can in turn be used by others to send you unsolicited communications. comotivate recommends that you exercise discretion in deciding what information you disclose on the Internet.
- Children under the age of 13 must not attempt to register with comotivate and/or submit any personal information to us. If it comes to our attention that we have collected personal data from a person under the age of 13, we will delete their profile as quickly as possible.
- We recommend that children between the ages of 13 and 17 should not send any information about themselves to anyone over the Internet without asking their parents or legal guardians for permission beforehand.
Security and confidentiality

Please do not disclose your account password to unauthorised people. comotivate uses industry standard technology designed to help keep your personal information safe. Please bear in mind though, that it is impossible for comotivate to guarantee that impenetrable security measures are in place. For example, we cannot control any illegal and/or unforeseen activity of other users that may allow them to compromise the privacy or security settings on the comotivate website. Consequently, you acknowledge that there are circumstances in which your personal information may be accessed by unauthorised persons.
- We limit access to your personal information only to employees who we believe need to come into contact with that information in order to do their jobs in connection with the comotivate service.

Private and Managed teams
comotivate reserves the right to review from time to time any content displayed within private and managed teams to ensure it complies with the Terms of Use policy and to report to the relevant authorities any contravention of those terms.

We commit to ensuring this privacy policy is kept up to date. If we make any fundamental changes, we will notify you by any means we consider appropriate.

Cancelling membership
You always have the option to delete your comotivate account. Just click on the ‘delete account’ button in your edit profile section.
